Services and Resources

VSHN provides a dedicated GitLab instance just for you, on the cloud provider of your choice or your own infrastructure, and takes over operational responsibility for the instances as a fully managed service with guaranteed availability and support. GitLab is integral to most infrastructure, such as code or application development and deployment lifecycles for many of our customers, and it underpins all VSHN services. Ensuring GitLab runs smoothly allows us to focus on leveraging its full potential. That’s why we offer GitLab instances as a managed service—so you can focus on coding and collaboration. GitLab is a comprehensive DevOps platform that offers a complete set of tools for software development, from version control to CI/CD and beyond. It combines Git repository management, code review, issue tracking, and CI/CD pipelines into a single application, highlighting some of its main features. This integration enables developers to efficiently manage the entire software development lifecycle—from planning to production—within a unified interface, emphasizing automation, testing, and security.

VSHN allows you to take your DevOps Journey with GitLab. We have been using GitLab internally and for our customers and partners for a long time and can offer both GitLab licenses and Managed GitLab as a complete package in managed service. Benefit from our many years of experience with GitLab and pipeline construction.

Acrevis Bank

Acrevis Bank AG, a leading regional bank between Lake Constance and Lake Zurich, has decided to partner with VSHN after an intensive evaluation and detailing phase. Together with Puzzle ITC, the technology platform Lagoon based on APPUiO was developed for implementation, realization, and operation, enabling Acrevis to have a two-speed IT platform. The modern and OpenShift-based platform will provide Acrevis with a future-oriented foundation for further digitization initiatives and combine security, stability, and flexibility. It also enables Acrevis to react quickly, easily, and efficiently to customer requests and new market requirements and to integrate them into the existing system landscape. Thanks to the scalability of the new technology platform, future digitization projects can be realized faster, easier, and more cost-efficient. It also distinguishes the regional bank as an active player in the ongoing digitization of the financial sector. Acrevis's deployment was standardized using GitLab and APPUiO, and the application was containerized. Due to the DevOps approach and the high degree of automation, Acrevis is now much faster on the market and can roll out new products and features for its customers. For Acrevis, it is clear that with VSHN, a competent partner was found to guarantee the operation of a secure and stable infrastructure.
